Solve this puzzle
Fred has a large grandfather clock that works perfectly but needs to be wound up daily.
When he came back from holidays the clock stopped ticking
Fred could not set the time as he owns no other clock, watch, computer etc.
Fred's friend Barney also owns a perfectly working clock and lives a few Km away.
Fred walks to Barney's place, drinks some coffee and tells about his holiday.
After a while he walks back home and upon arrival knows how to set his clock to the correct time.
How did he do it?
